Following the success of this year’s Advanced Course of Resurfacing in Ghent (both scientifically and socially), I am pleased to inform you that the 3rd Advanced Resurfacing Course will be organised on 17-20 June 2009. As it worked so well previously, the meeting will once again be based in the historical venue “Het Pand” in Ghent, Belgium.
The format will remain the same: the meeting aims to stimulate, educate, and equip you with the most advanced and up-to-date information about resurfacing arthroplasty. A prestigious faculty brings a combined experience exceeding 10,000 metal-on-metal hip resurfacing arthroplasty procedures!
The focus will again be on an interactive course with faculty and surgeons; lively discussions, and question and answer sessions with participant voting are at the forefront of the sessions. The surgical demonstrations and various workshops should increase the knowledge of all attending resurfacing champions. Pertinent basic science and evidence-based elements will be presented together with the practical experience of the faculty in clinical and technical issues.
